At Biking for a Better World, we see biking as an empowering and enjoyable activity, understood universally and practiced around the entire world. We strive to transform the act of pedaling into a force to make the world a better place.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) California non-profit corporation, established January 2006.  A donation of $25 or more includes a one-year membership.  You will receive occasional emails containing news of upcoming events, rides, and projects. Members are encouraged to pursue their own ideas about “biking for a better world.”

Donations made at this time will be directed towards our current program, Bikes to La Bonansa. This program is a continuation of our Nicaragua school project (Alaska to Argentina 2007).  The school currently has around fifty students enrolled, and we plan to provide new bikes to each of the students.
